It’s Sunday and I confess I happily let myself sleep in this morning after that Bridge Mountain adventure yesterday. Though I finally stepped outside around mid-day, I discovered a cold chill in the air and wondered how in the world am I going to motivate to run and bike and train in the cooler temperatures ahead? Cool weather begs for snuggling in bed! The key must be learning to layer properly and for each sport I’m training in. The Silverman is notorious for challenging weather so I know I can’t limit myself to fair weather outdoor training. But, what do I need to stay comfortable and efficient in each sport when the weather turns extreme (either too hot or too cold)?
