Got some great suggestions on dealing with soreness via the Silverman or Bust Facebook Fan page last night. Before my legs fully recovered from running and yoga, I topped off last week with a great hike. My legs have gotten more sore in the past day – mostly quads and calves. Here are some great suggestion from the fans:
- Do a swim day rather than a run day. (I will be doing this as soon as I get my swim stuff organized.)
- Amino acids (Hammer Endurance Aminos are great) and water-running. (Water running sounds delightful right now!)
- Cherry juice for inflammation and coconut water for potassium.
- Arnica Cream or gel
